Ticket to Gala Dinner and Auction

We are delighted to invite you to our annual Black Market Gala.

The Gala will take place at the Colonel’s House, Pulkveža Brieža 15, a newly renovated building in the Quiet Centre, just a three-minute walk from Hanzas iela 22.

The artistic concept of the evening is created by artist and Purvītis Prize finalist Darja Meļņikova. She is the founder of Kafe Dario, a café inspired by the atmosphere of Sicily. Darja will bring surrealist ambience to the magical Black Market evening.

Michelin-acclaimed restaurant KEST, led by chef Māris Jansons, will indulge guests with a specially curated three-course dinner. 

The auction will feature works by over 30 artists representing different generations of contemporary Latvian art.

The aim of the event is to support the revival of Hanzas iela 22 as the permanent home of Kim? Contemporary Art Centre.
